COMPETITIVE MATCHES

In 2023, our Kingston 70+ Squad competed in the Surrey FA League & Cup and the prestigious WFA National Cup.

In 2024, our Kingston 70+ Squad competed in the Surrey FA League & Cup, the WFLA Champions League & Cup and again in the WFA National Cup.

Currently, in 2025, we have a 70+ Squad which competes in the Surrey FA League and Cup, the Worthing Bi-Monthly One-Day Football Cup Tournaments and in the WFA National Cup.

In 2025/2026, we plan to have at least two competitive Squads. One at 70+ and another at 75+.

Most Competitions are played during the day, Monday - Friday, it suits retired, semi-retired and self-employed players. However, if there is enough interest from players between 65-70 years of age, with a high-standard of football ability, then Kingston would consider entering  a 65+ team in the Surrey FA League in 2026.

FRIENDLY MATCHES

Occasional matches against other walking football teams are arranged.  Currently, we have a 70+ Squad and are preparing for a 75+ Squad also for 2025/2026.  We are also open to arranging friendlies for the "even younger" players, who are aged over 65 and under 70 years of age.

These games are played throughout the year, purposely, against mixed-age opposition (which include younger players who are faster and more physically competitive). This is to maintain a standard of quality football, to ensure our 'older' players are well-prepared for competitive games against opposition in their age-group.
